where's the mint stamp on a 1912 liberty nickel, what is the difference between a 1912, a 1912-d, and 1912-s ?

I have a 1912 liberty (v) nickel, and can't figure out is it is a 1912 (regular), a 1912-d, or a 1912-s, so I'm wondering how to distinguish the difference between the three. Thanks in advance for any info.

The mint mark (not stamp) on the Liberty nickel is found on the reverse, to the lower left, underneath the dot. You are unlikely to have the 1912-S. It was only struck for four business days in late December of that year and only 238,000 were minted.
